Begin3 Title: Allow loading kernel modules on demand, and reroute PC speaker beep Version: 950506 Entered-date: Sat May 6 02:07 MET DST 1995 Description: A kernel patch accompanied by two programs. One program allows the kernel to request missing modules, thus allowing to use kernel modules transparently (e.g. "mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom" will cause the mcd.o and isofs.o module to be loaded). They can also be removed automatically when no longer in use. The other program allows to play back a sound through the soundcard whenever the kernel requests the PC squeeker to beep. This allows for nicer sounds at a volume you chose.
